On the New year eve of 2013, we were planning to have a gala family dinner at home and get our grocery shopping done accordingly. This Turkey meat was one of them. But, due to some last minute urgency, I had to slog in the office till late hours and when I reach home around 9 PM, I had very little energy left to cook an elaborate dinner. So that was the background of this quick spicy Turkey Masala, which you can cook with ingredients easily available in your kitchen and most importantly, this can be cooked within 15 minutes apart from the marination time, of course.
Make a paste of half of the chopped onions, coriander leaves, ginger garlic paste, green chilli, salt, turmeric powder, shaan masala and marinate the meat for 15 minutes.
Add mustard oil in a pan. When it is hot, fry chopped onions till golden brown. Add the marinated turkey and fry till oil separates out from it.
Put it in pressure cooker, and cook till the meat is soft. Serve with chapati.
