Bele Machher Jhuro

This is a Mom-In-Law special machher jhuro aka machher bhorta or fish mash. You can use any fish you want since the fishes get boiled first and then the fish bones are removed, you won't find difficulties with the fish bones. You can even try it with leftover fish.




Ingredients


  • Bele Maach - 300 gms,   
  • Onions, 5- sliced
  • Green chilli - 4 or more,
  •  if you can handle it
  • Radhuni (a kind of bengali spcie) Bata - 1 tsp
  • Salt and turmeric, as required.





Boil the fishes with a pinch of salt. Discard the water. Remove the flesh from the bones and keep aside. Discard the bones as well.
Add mustard oil in a pan. Now add sliced onion and green chilli with a pinch of salt and turmeric and fry well.


Add the boiled fishes and mix well. Continue frying. Add the radhuni bata and mix well. Check seasoning and adjust it if required. 


Spices and fishes should mix well and it should appear as a mash. Add coriander leaves ( optional) and serve with plain rice.
