Fried Chicken

Give your kid a real treat by making this easy fried chicken.


Ingredients



  • Chicken drumsticks / breast - 8  
  • Curd - 100 gms
  • Egg - 1, beaten
  • Flour / Maida - 50 gms
  • Bread Crumbs - 50 gms
  • Chilli Flakes - 1 tsp
  • Black Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
  • Basil leaves - 1 tsp, dried


  • Oregano - 1 tsp, dried                                  
  • Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
  • Ginger Paste - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying


Wash and clean chicken, Drain the water thoroughly.
Add beaten egg, curd, 1/2 tsp chilli flakes, ginger, garlic paste and salt.


Add this mixture to the chicken and mix well. Marinate for at least 3 to 4 hours in a refrigerator.


Mix flour, pepper powder, oregano, basil, remaining chilli flakes and salt in a big bowl.


Cover marinated chicken with spicy flour ix and then with bread crumbs.



Heat oil in a thick bottom kadai and deep fry the chicken in a slow fire till it is cooked.


Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
